ACE Personal Trainer, Holistic Nutritional Consultant, Group Fitness Instructor
I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant. My inspiration to pursue a career as a Health and Fitness Professional originated from many years as a competitive athlete in Cross Country running and Track & Field.
As a Trainer, I am goal – oriented and results driven. My areas of focus are functional strength training, general wellness, weight loss, injury prevention and nutrition.
My approach is holistic by considering all aspects of a client’s life and acknowledging the mind – body connection. I believe that proper exercise, nutrition and mindset are the keys to success of the individual and all need to be considered for overall health improvement and prevention of disease. On a physical level, I believe our bodies were designed to move everyday and that we should train in a way that’s functional, so we can perform daily activities more easily and without injury. I like to develop effective programs that are progressive and challenging, yet fun to help you achieve your goals.
As a health professional I want to share my passion and knowledge, and to educate you on the long – term benefits of staying healthy. My goal is to challenge, motivate and inspire you. Whether you are new to fitness or looking for a coach to push you further, I want to support and encourage you on your journey to reach your full potential!
My additional certifications include TRX, Kettlebell, Resistance Training, and Indoor Cycle. I also hold my diploma in Natural Nutrition from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. On my free time, I enjoy strength training, hiking, biking, and yoga.
